VP Konditerskaya 2.03 released

A major update to VP Konditerskaya is now available. Version 2.03 is the most significant release since launch: document-style operation history, Excel export and print, returns, write-offs, renamed sections and a range of interface improvements.

Documents and operation history

  1. Operations in the history are now displayed as full documents, not just individual rows.
  2. Documents with detailed operation contents are added for sales, returns, purchases, production, write-offs, salaries and debt payments.
  3. Open, Edit, Export and Print buttons are added for the main history sections.

Export and print

  1. Document export to Excel is now available.
  2. Print forms are implemented for key operations.
  3. Documents are formatted in a familiar style: delivery notes, operation contents, totals and signatures.
  4. A CSV fallback export is provided for computers without Excel installed.

Returns

  1. A return function has been added to the sales section.
  2. The program checks the customer's purchase history and helps process the return correctly.
  3. A return can be processed with the item going back to stock or being written off.
  4. A dedicated returns section with documents, export and print has been added to the history.

Write-offs

  1. Write-off operations for products and items have been added.
  2. Write-offs are saved as separate documents.
  3. A general write-offs section has been added to the history.
  4. Open, edit, export and print are available for write-offs.

Items and recipes

  1. The "Products" section has been renamed to "Items".
  2. The "Ingredients" section has been renamed to "Products".
  3. Filling in an item recipe is now more convenient: the recipe is edited in a separate form.
  4. In the item card the recipe is shown as a reference table, preventing accidental manual edits.
  5. Support for loading items together with recipes via a separate patch has been added.

Accounting and corrections

  1. Operation editing logic has been improved.
  2. Corrections are recorded in the action log.
  3. For important changes the old and new values are both saved.
  4. Editing and write-offs are restricted to administrator rights.

Interface and usability

  1. Dropdown lists and filtering when selecting products and items have been improved.
  2. Multi-monitor window behaviour is fixed: the program remembers the main window position and opens related windows next to it.
  3. Window size and position saving has been improved.
  4. Labels in the products section have been updated to make it clearer how to fill in stock and cost.
