Privacy Policy

This document is an informational translation. The legally binding original is in Russian: Политика конфиденциальности (RU). In the event of any discrepancy, the Russian version takes precedence.

1. What This Policy Covers

1.1. This Privacy Policy (hereinafter — "Policy") defines what information about users is collected by the website vpstudio.pro and the associated VP Studio software products, how that information is used, how it is protected and what rights users have.

1.2. The Policy has been developed in accordance with Federal Law No. 152-FZ of 27.07.2006 "On Personal Data", Federal Law No. 149-FZ of 27.07.2006 "On Information, Information Technologies and Information Protection", and other regulatory legal acts of the Russian Federation.

1.3. By using the website vpstudio.pro or VP Studio software products, the user confirms that they have read this Policy and agree to its terms. If the user does not agree with any terms, they should stop using the website and software products.

1.4. This Policy supplements but does not replace the Personal Data Processing Policy. In the event of any conflict, the provisions of Law No. 152-FZ shall apply.

2. What Information We Collect

2.1. Information You Provide Directly

When interacting with the website and VP Studio services, we may receive:

• Name or full name (when filling out forms, ordering services, purchasing licences);
• Email address;
• Phone number (if voluntarily provided);
• Telegram or other messenger identifier (if voluntarily provided);
• Details for contracts and payment (for legal entities and individual entrepreneurs);
• The content of your enquiries, requests and correspondence with us;
• Other information you voluntarily share.

2.2. Technical Data Collected Automatically

When visiting vpstudio.pro, anonymised technical data is collected automatically: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, screen resolution, referral source, visit time and pages viewed, and cookies. This data is used to analyse site performance, improve the service and ensure security.

2.3. Data Collected by Software Products

VP Studio software products operate locally on the user's device and do not transmit user activity data to the Operator's servers. During online licence activation, only a unique technical device identifier and licence key information are transmitted — exclusively for the purpose of licence verification and activation.

3. How We Use Information

Collected information is used exclusively for the following purposes:

• responding to your enquiries and requests;
• selling and activating software product licences;
• entering into and performing custom software development contracts;
• providing technical support for purchased products;
• informing about order status, activation and technical updates;
• improving site performance and analysing traffic (in anonymised form);
• complying with the requirements of Russian Federation legislation.

We do not use your data for marketing profiling, behavioural targeting, sale to third parties or automated decision-making with legal consequences.

4. Cookies

The website uses: technical cookies — necessary for basic site operation; analytical cookies — Yandex.Metrica for anonymised statistics; functional cookies — remembering interface settings. Marketing and advertising cookies are not used on vpstudio.pro.

The user may configure their browser to block cookies or receive a notification each time they are set. Disabling cookies may cause some site functions to work incorrectly.

5. Sharing Information with Third Parties

VP Studio does not share or sell users' personal data to third parties for commercial purposes. Transfer is possible only: to payment operators and banks — to the extent necessary to process payment; to Russian Federation state authorities — in cases directly provided for by law; with the user's prior consent — in other cases.

Cross-border transfer of personal data is not carried out. All data is stored and processed on servers located in the Russian Federation, in accordance with the requirements of Article 18 of Law No. 152-FZ.

6. Third-Party Services

The website uses the web analytics service Yandex.Metrica (Yandex LLC). The service collects anonymised data about user behaviour in accordance with its own privacy policy, available at yandex.ru/legal/confidential. The website may contain links to third-party resources; VP Studio is not responsible for their privacy practices.

7. Information Security

To protect information, organisational and technical measures are applied in accordance with Articles 18.1 and 19 of Law No. 152-FZ: restricted access to data, use of security and encryption tools, regular backups, security event monitoring. In the event of a data breach, the Operator notifies Roskomnadzor within the timeframes required by law.

8. Retention Periods

Information is retained for the period necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected, or until consent is withdrawn, or until the expiry of periods established by law (for accounting and tax documents — at least 5 years). After the retention period expires, data is deleted or anonymised.

9. Your Rights

The user has the right to: receive information about the fact and terms of processing their data; request correction, blocking or deletion of their data; withdraw consent to processing at any time; receive a copy of the data being processed; appeal against the Operator's actions to Roskomnadzor or in court.

To exercise your rights, send a request to info@vpstudio.pro with the subject line "Personal Data Request". A response will be sent within 30 days.

10. Minors

The website vpstudio.pro and VP Studio software products are not intended for persons under the age of 14. We do not knowingly collect data about minors. If you have reason to believe that a minor has provided us with their data, please contact us at info@vpstudio.pro.

11. Policy Updates

VP Studio may update this Policy from time to time. The current version is always available at vpstudio.pro. For material changes, the Operator will post a notice on the website. The date of the last update is indicated at the beginning of the document.
